"Not worth the money. While it is located on a beautiful beach, the hotel has no value for money. The food is horrible and the staff treats you as if you're at a child's birthday party. If you want to relax, forget it, the hotel has high volume music on the beach all day long and the staff engaged to entertain ask you to join some kind of activity every 10 mins. From Karaoke to other games on the beach all day long - and we chose this place to stay in some quiet since it is an adults only hotel....

"A beautiful hotel. Dining in the hotel is very expensive. While the effort of fine dining is a plus, an alternative cheaper option could be provided. Overall the hotel is great. The pool could do with a refresh. "

"Loved this hotel! Super friendly staff from the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and beach club! Grounds and are well taken care of and wonderful to admire while you walk to and from your room. Our room was nice and had plenty of space to relax along with a balcony. The free breakfast is delicious and the beach club has great service. Loved the beach access which is situated right down the street and has a dedicated area for the hotel guests."

"Amazing pool areas, relaxing and quiet hotel. Good breakfast, freshly cooked eggs was nice touch. Clean rooms, but pathways to pool could have been better maintained. Would have preferred if hotel was dog free as well as adults only! Lovely surrounding areas to visit, need a car as hotel is quite remote, unless you just want to stay at the hotel all day & evening "

"The Alma is in a great location, despite very few amenities. Beach is wonderful and an easy walk. Our stay was spoiled by apalling and loud music from the bar but blasted over the whole site - which consisted mainly of out of key solo singing and guitar over poor Pink Floyd backing tracks from about 6.00pm onwards, followed by dreadful karaoke from 9.00 to midnight. "Lovely setting and great pool and bar area. Ideally situated next to the beach. What let's the resort down is the poor breakfast and attitude of some of the staff. Seem reluctant to replenish food and juices. The head chef clearly has low standards about of food that is served. Room was ok and had a good bathroom. Walls are paper thin though. "
