"When we arrived the woman checking us in (who appears to be the manager/a senior member of staff) did not seem interested in helping us or trying to communicate (as we don't speak Italian). "We had a warm welcome by the staff upon arrival and they spoke very good English. The food that we had in the in house restaurant was brilliant with loads of options and even recommendation. We received free little appetisers during our meal from the chef. The facilities were very broad inc swimming pool, gym, pool table, free reading material etc. The only negative I could possibly think of would be our door surround/frame was a little loose meaning it was noisier for us to close our door...

"Spacious apartments a couple of kilometres away but not directly in the nature. Communication around the extra fees could be better. Having to pay extra for bed sheets and towels, as well as needing to put them ourselves was a first for us. "

"La struttura seppur basica è estremamente confortevole ed è munita di tutto. Il personale davvero molto molto gentile, disponibili e carinissimi. Le camere non grandissime ma spaziose. C'e anche un ristorante dove si cena e si pranza ed il cibo è davvero ottimo. Punto di partenza perfetto per accedere a diversi sentieri ove è possibile fare delle passeggiate davvero belle e con diversi livelli di difficoltà. Assolutamente consigliato. "

"First impressions are very much 'oh dear', this ain't no 4 star and no it's not. But you'll probably get used to it and have a nice holiday anyway. So reflect that you get what you pay for and you'll be ok. It's such a shame that no-one really cares, because it could be so much better.
