"Great location for a family getaway to the Suffolk coast. Room was set up with extra child’s bed as requested when booking. Worked great for our family! Rooms very clean, quiet and comfortable. Could use a little tlc eg loo roll holder falling off but worked great for us. Service and checkin very smooth and couldn’t fault it! "

"Overall very nice indeed and would definitely stay again. Food was delicious but service at breakfast and dinner a little disappointing and not very well organised. TV in our room should be bigger; no low level lighting in the bathroom meaning bright light shone onto the bed if the bathroom was used in the night. Also toilet seat not soft closing, looked cheap and could do with being replaced. Small complaints but relevant for a five star hotel."

"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

Was warmly welcomed by our host and they were flexible about check in times and us leaving the car in their car park before check in. Had a lovely quiet room which was warm and comfortable. "I went to Diss to see friends & colleagues. On arrival no one was there to meet me as I had arrived early. There was no way of contacting the proprietor. They were on holiday, their adult daughter & son in law were taking care of bookings/stays. I had to wait for them to come home from work. The son in law was the first to arrive and was friendly & apologetic. The daughter arrived and she was equally lovely. The room was so nice and comfortable. I had a fantastic sleep & enjoyed my stay.
