"The staff at Reception were super but there was a problem with the Health Centre staff. The infotmation about hours when the pool was available to hotel guests was wrong and we missed out on a swim on our first day as a result. We ate the evening buffet which was good and very good value. Its close to the forest - good for walkers and cyclists but otherwise you need a car."

Smelled much better. The beds were comfortable and when I couldn’t figure out the heating system the same staff member came to are room and showed us how the heater worked. "I found Eisenach out of a guide book, and this hotel from Hotels.com. It is close enough to everything, but far enough off the main square to be quiet. It's mostly residential, so I'd suggest breakfast AT the hotel (which is great) - there are no quaint coffee/ breakfast places within a couple blocks. The property has many rooms, including meeting rooms (if you need any), and is accustomed to accommodating groups. I was very pleased w the stay, and with my visit to Eisenach. "
