Its only a short walk a way from the main street, which is an added plus. They also had a outdoor hot tub which we really enjoyed. I would highly recommend booking for your next visit whether its family trip or a couples getaway. "

"The service was excellent, the room was perfect (the splitter/HVAC units on the ground outside the room were a bit noisy - but not unpleasant at least for me - however for future guests, you may want to consider muffling the sound if possible), immaculate, bed was very comfortable, TV was excellent (theatre-grade), the Exec Chef at the Shandaken is definitely "Michelin-grade", outstanding cuisine, complimentary breakfast menu was fantastic, the entire management/service team was/is "top-notch"....

"Carriage House was an absolute gem! It was stylish, cozy, and spacious. The morning coffee and baked goods for breakfast were outstanding - so good we found the local bakery and got more. It was such a comfortable stay and close enough for us to Rhinebeck. We are definitely planning on making a return trip in the future. "
