"The view was beautiful and the setting in the trees was lovely. It was a bit too remote for our preference. The road to access the property is very steep and unpaved, which was a surprise and was challenging after dark. I don’t know if this is common but it’s the first time we’ve ever encountered a washing machine but no dryer, and no available wifi. If you’re looking for a couple of days to completely disconnect, this is a great choice. "

"This place isn't the Hilton BUT it is a great, honest, clean and convenient place for anyone looking to stay. The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne. "Beautifully designed, very private cabin with an imperious view to the west across rainforest, coastal heath and the shipwreck coast. My 12 yo loved the outdoor bath. Alister and Caroline were full of good tips about tracks to forgotten beaches and rainforest drives. Perfect for day trips to 12 Apostles, etc. Highly recommended getaway for adventurous romantics. "
