"The restaurant is great—delicious food and a breakfast buffet with plenty of options to kick-start your morning. The staff? Friendly. But there's an interesting duality to this place: you've got the Ibis side and the Mercure side. I never ventured over to the Mercure part, but it seemed to attract a lively professional crowd as well as some older guests. I wouldn't be surprised if that was their main bread and butter. Meanwhile, the Ibis side—where we stayed—had this trendy ghost town vibe....

"The hotel was lovely and staff was friendly. The room was very comfortable. Would recommend staying here. Do not recommend Cafe Victor. The waiter in the three piece suite is pompous and arrogant. He made us feel uncomfortable and caught him smirking at us as we struggled to read French. We didn’t return for breakfast. "

"The staff were very friendly. Bed was very comfortable. No food only Pizza for dinner. Which was cold in middle and heated in microwave. No tea and coffee facilities. No fresh milk just UHT. If your using it just for stop over and just need a place to crash excellent as bed was nice shower was great as well"

"Lovely reception lady gave us advice about the restaurants next door, friendly and very helpful. Clean, modern and spacious rooms for 3 people and 2 small dogs. Easy and plentiful parking, area felt safe and 2 decent restaurants right next door. Will definitely use again when travelling up and down through France"

"Overnight stopover, although in the city the underground parking and 24 hour reception made it a good option. My phone map showed the hotel on the opposite side of the road for some odd reason and we had to ask how to access the underground garage (from Avenue de Caen), but once we found it a good hotel. Comfortable night sleep, clean bedding and bathroom and and the bathroom looked recently done up. Friendly staff. Tasty and convenient breakfast included (continental with eggs and sausages). "

"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. "I went to Rouen last year, and I fell in love with the city. I stayed at Hotel de Quebec at that time too. When I decided to visit Rouen again this year, I just didn’t look for any other hotels. I knew I would stay there again. And just like last year, everyone was super nice. Merci du fond du cœur, Maxime et ses parents This hotel is located very conveniently; the rooms are clean; the breakfast is VERY good. Encore merci . Merci mille fois"

"We had a stop off en route south. The family room had perfect facilities with two single beds for the children and a large double. Also a fridge and microwave to prepare snacks or breakfast. Just what we needed with a child needing specialist food. "

"Staff were excellent, a conference had just finished as we arrived and it would have been been easy to have overlooked new arrivals but the staff were excellent and ensured we were looked after well. The restaurant on site was good and offered reasonable food, bar had great selection and room enabled a good nights sleep comfortable bed. "
