"Conveniently located close to city centre and restaurants. Rooms are not too small and are clean. The hotel is a reasonable value-for-money but is starting to look very tired and needs a refurbishment (eg the lift is not working properly, there’s rust in the bathroom etc.)."

"Really large room with king size bed and 2 recliner chairs and 2 kitchen chairs. Massive TV-pity only local NZ channels available. Very comfortable bed, large bathroom with all amenities, kitchenette is adequate -(hot plate, no oven), quiet at night and good night blockout curtains. Location great for our needs- near gardens and south to the caves and west to Tauranga. Need a car. Hosts very helpful. Self laundry available."
