"The rooms are great but because of a lot of dark timber - cupboards, desk etc the lighting towards bathroom, fridge area could be a bit brighter. The staff in the Restaurant were fantastic - a very busy night but their service, manner, helpfulness and cheerfulness and advice re wines etc was very much appreciated."

"As others have previously said , this motel is conveniently placed to shops , hotels ,etc . Very clean , and offers a well equipped kitchen to boot . And , guess what , something that is as rare as hen's teeth these days , a comprehensive brekkie menu . Go for it , a hot breakfast delivered to your front door on time , and totally delicious. "

"A fantastic place to stay. Country setting but 5 minutes from the centre of Armidale. View from rooms of leafy trees and fields is very relaxing. The property is heritage listed and has a very interesting history. Theowners were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless with a great shower with great water pressure. It will be our only choice of accommodation when we next visit Armidale."
