"It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. A good place to relax by the pool and enjoy the typical food of Alentejo. It's a humble place with a really nice team. Ms Beatriz and the entire family are very welcoming. Their dog Anubis made my day. "

"Beautiful place to stay when exploring Portugal. Sometimes it’s best to get off the beaten path. Accommodations were great and the hosts made the stay pleasant. Breakfast was also very nice. Would stay again. "

"Lovely retreat, be aware it is miles down a dusty track which can be difficult to find at first. Facilities are lovely and was not crowded when we went in July. "

"We stayed over during winter time (December) to check ou the Hotel for an event in May. The surroundings are gorgeous and you can feel the calm of Alentejo right in. The food is absolutely delicious and staff very friendly and available. A note: majority of the rooms does not have bathroom door, which came a bit as a surprise. The suites do have door but are in need of a little TLC in the bathroom to bring it to a 5* review hotel. Overall a lovely stay and will be able to stay again!"

"Joan and his staff for very welcoming and ensured we had an excellent visit. The rural setting of the hotel has the beach, Roman archaeological sites and other places to visit within 30 minutes of the hotel. The food was awesome. Joan and team prepare and serve extravagant meals bursting with flavor. You can't possibly go hungry."

"A beautiful, unique and rare accommodation. This manor house has been in the same family for several hundred years and this same family still host and staff the house. "Wir haben zu zweit 5 Nächte übernachtet. Das Hotel mit ca. 20 Zimmern befindet sich an einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Unser Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und sauber. "O conceito é muito diferente daquilo que se espera de um Hotel 4*, aliás, daquilo que se espera de um Hotel.... ma é certo, que existirão hóspedes que adoram o conceito e a experiência. Fiquei confuso. O preço, 180€/noite APA, no mínimo o triplo do preço que valia para a época comparativamente com unidades 4*. "
