"I just had to spend the night on my way from Denmark to Berlin and for that it was perfect. But there was a constant noice from some sort og machinery, so if you are sensitive to that, it is good to know."

"A beautiful hotel by Lake ziegelsee. The hotel had their own boat dock. The view from our room was of the lake. The was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly, and check in was quick. My only complaint was lack of air conditioning. It was quite warm when we were there even with windows open. Breakfast buffet was good. "

"Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und einladend! Schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang vom Balkon aus. Das Restaurant "The George" serviert ein köstliches Abendessen und das vom Hotel angebotene Frühstück ist sicherlich köstlich. Ich kann das Weinhaus Uhle sehr empfehlen. Außerdem war es ein sehr schöner und einfacher Spaziergang zum Schloss Shwerin. "Very dated hotel. Hardly maintained building - from balcony views over flat roofs with plastic coverings. Additional charge for the sauna was excessive and unexpected. "

"Staff are very friendly and like a chat. Ample rooms at ground level. Unfortunately, despite roller blinds, the train line that passes right outside the front of the hotel kept me up to the wee hours and then again from dawn. Doesn't help if you like to sleep with open window. I didn't, eventhough the small and stuffy room was a bit claustrophobic with the blinds down. Shower doors on rusty tracks. Breakfast is okay, the breakfast room quite nice with a lovely winter garden."
