"We visited Zafra as the first stop of our tour of Extremadura and were very happy with this hotel - historic building ( old castle and pretty courtyard ), lovely room , friendly helpful staff and had a good lunch from the cafe sitting in sunny courtyard ( including delicious vegan option for my wife ).Only a couple of minutes walk to the main square and cheap parking available just outside the hotel .Would stay here again - not too far from Seville airport , so very convenient after flight. ."

The hotel’s location was a big advantage, within walking distance of a covered public swimming pool as well as the Roman amphitheater and theater. The food was absolutely amazing and very fresh, right down to the best coffee. The tiny town was visually stunning, interesting, walkable, and friendly.
