"Family run, very friendly and helpful, in a lovely old building, beautifully decorated for Xmas. We were surprised at the size of our room, complete with four-poster and with a very large bathroom, which looked as if it had been recently renovated in a heritage style. "

"Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. A fantastic hotel and fantastic staff, we really enjoyed our visit."
