"We turned up expecting a comfortable apartment based on 3 star rating and wow!, absolutely shocking from the start. Went to the so called lobby? It was a room with a bar type desk. The man in a sweaty t shirt gave me the key and off I toddled to the room. First impressions set the tone and walked up to the first floor dodging the broken tiled stairs and into the apartment. "Having planned a day of retail therapy in Lorca and Murcia, we decided to treat ourselves to a night away from decorating our home in Mojacar (98 wooden shutters to paint....***!). From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Steve and Deborah provided a welcoming drink followed by a delicious evening meal. We retired to a comfortable room and woke refreshed.
