"We booked this hotel without doing much research and we were completely taken back on how great this hotel is! The location is top! The room was very clean and comfortable, with amazing pillows, blankets and a mattress that is very conforming. The check-in was quick and the staff very friendly. Parking was available so we could unload our items and then go to the room. After a great day of skiing we were able to ski down the hill on run 1 that ended up only 40m way from their ski-room. "We have stayed here twice now. It is a small traditional hotel. Set at the edge of town, it has an unobstructed and amazing view of the valley and mountains. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good. The room also came with a Allgäu-Walser-Card which was a great savings. Not sure if this was a special offer or a normal practice. "

Hotels.com says this hotel has a bar, but it has been closed since COVID so no “bar.” That was a disappointment. You can get beer and wine from the restaurant, which is an outstanding restaurant. Also, it has really good breakfast and a nice little bar with drinks. The host was really good and make sure we were always comfortable. "
