We knew it was a rural hotel but despite this our first impressions were 'where is everybody?' and 'where on earth are we?' quickly followed by 'what a beautifully kept place?' "Excellent choice for our stopover and great value for money. The owners were very welcoming and friendly when we had drinks in the bar. We were a bit worried it would be noisy from the road as we sleep with windows open but our room facing away from the road wasn't noisy at all. The breakfast was basic but tasty and we were also offered and had fried eggs. Great coffee. Hope to stop again when visiting this area."
