"Dieses Hotel ist ein typisches Tagungshotel. Das heisst die meisten Gäste kommen nur für 2-3 Tage und in größeren Gruppen. Deswegen ist Frühstück nur bis 9.30 Uhr und Check-Out schon um 9 Uhr. Das ist vielleicht für den einen oder anderen privaten Gast sehr früh, passt aber für die Tagungshotelstrukturen gut. The hotel is at the end of its street in a quiet neighborhood and backs up to farmland. Plenty of free parking. "Wir waren zu Gast in einer gemütlichen Pension mit gutem Frühstück. Man gab uns das Gefühl, herzlich willkommen zu sein. Leider haben wir während der zwei Nächte Aufenthalt ( Samstag und Sonntag) kaum schlafen können, weil einige Pensionsgäste sich nachts sehr laut und weniger rücksichtsvoll verhalten haben. "The hotel is wonderful, on the outskirts of the forest with easy access to hiking and a playground. Only a 12-minute drive to Heidelberg’s Altstadt, their breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, air conditioning, huge tub and shower in the junior suite, beautiful Biergarten with a playground to occupy the kids....all reasons why we would choose this hotel every time possible when visiting Heidelberg!"

"Second visit and staff / service were still very friendly and efficient. Food in restaurant was very good, wholesome, traditional and great value, as was its artisan beer. Although room decor a little tired, it was clean and serviced daily. Also found out rooms and restaurant dog friendly. Would definitely book again if staying in the area. "
