"The nightly Kickback Hour (5:30-7:00) is what sets this place apart from other hotels in the area. With food/traffic flow in mind, the only *minor* suggestion I'd make is to place small, counter top trash receptacles in areas that have condiments like salt, pepper, butter, etc. There are no options to discard small items in the center of the main food prep area, so you end up making several trips to the main trash cans just to prepare your food before finding a table. Again, VERY minor."

"This is a very nice property. We stayed 4/2025 and it is a newer property. They have controlled parking across the street. We did not bring a pet, but noticed a number of people did and it appeared to be very pet friendly. The continental breakfast was the standard breakfast, but was a well kept area. Room was very comfortable."

"I thought the hotel property was very nice plus the location was amazing being so close to the restaurants and shops. I'm from Iowa City so it was nice to be able to stay somewhere familiar. The pool/pool area was a little small but the hot tub was great and my kids did enjoy the pool. Breakfast had a lot of options but was very busy. Our room was perfect for the 6 of us and even had room for a few friends to hang out since we were celebrating birthdays."
