"First time to Maine from Canada to visit Baxter State park. Had a Great stay at this motel. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful during check-in and rooms were ckean and had great appalcian style cabin feel. Wpuld definately stay here again. Thanks!"

"I checked in at 6pm on Aug 20th, the hotel office building was dark with a “closed” sign hanging in the front. I then called the office and surprisingly I could neither talk to anyone nor leave a voicemail because the mail box was full. It was upsetting that this hotel completely disregarded their customers in such an unprofessional manner. I was left high and dry and had to rearrange my hotel booking in the evening. "Luke and Deb were nothing short of amazing. Their hospitality is so genuine and staying in the apartment in the detached garage at their home was perfect. There was a winter storm on both of our travel days and because their other guests stays would not have been impacted by adjusting check in/out days we were able to adjust our plans by 1 day preventing us from driving in a storm.
