"This is a family planned and run hotel and pride of ownership shines through in every respect, from friendly service to cleanliness, maintenance and overall ambiance. The grounds have been thoughtfully laid out, the wellness area, pool, sauna and exercise facilities are nicely designed. "Eichwalde is a quiet, residential town. I was planning a couple of long days at DESY-Zeuthen, one S-Bahn stop south of Eichwalde (or a nice 45 minute walk). I typically stay in Berlin proper, but wanted to give this a try. Anyway, I had a small, but very nice, single room. Checked in late via the intercom and key lock-box. I had a German speaker with me, but it seems likely it would have worked in any case. Breakfast was quiet, food and coffee were excellent."
