"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

"I recently stayed at Palmers, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. "A lovely stay. Roast dinner and breakfast the following morning were delicious. The suite we stayed in was large, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Easy to find and lots of parking Staff member Nathan and the lady who served us breakfast were both lovely. The cons - the hot water tank run out after my husband had a shower. We had to wait 45 minutes for it to heat up again. For the age/type of building this isn’t a problem but it would be good to give guests the heads up online...

"Wonderful getaway. It’s our second visit and a firm favourite. Lovely owners and staff, they made us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious and fresh.
