"The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Great view from the balcony. Above all, the amazing hospitality of Fabric was outstanding - genuinely friendly, huge character. He generously recommended a shop where i could buy delices - and took the trouble to drew me a map of how to get there the following morning. Definitely come here if you want the traditional Alsace experience. Easy parking in front of hotel. Room looked like new although the building is hundreds years old."

"We booked this small hotel without knowing the area. Philippsburg is not the most popular stopping place for tourists, but we liked it for it's authenticity and quiet. We walked around the village and the nearby lake and the surrounding forests were wonderful."
