"The staff is what I am impressed with about this property. The hotel itself is going through a much needed renovation! The carpet is orange and brown, looks like it is straight from the 70's. I am sure it will be much better once they are done with the renovation. I was on the first floor. I had requested a handicap accessible room with two beds. "This was an excellent stay, owners and staff very nice and accommodating, breakfast was wonderful, very tasty. Fire pit including S’mores and wine were offered to wind down at the end of the day. Great relaxing outside seating all around the porch as well. Rooms were thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. "

"The house is truly historical but beautifully decorated and comfortable. Can definitely use some work due to age of the house but overall very big, spacious and homey feeling. We enjoyed our stay."
