"Whole building is tired. We were disappointed the restaurant and bar are no longer operating… not what was stated online. A comfortable stay though. The lady who greeted us was exceptional with her friendliness and helpfulness. Thank you."

"If you want a quiet and comfortable place to stay the Empire is pretty good. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the renovations, the lighting was great, mini fridge, kettle, ironing board and iron. Loved that other guests had left their streaming profiles logged in! The staff were friendly and overall i would stay again. Maybe next time they will have a kitchen. I think k that’s the only thing missing a restaurant attached."

"We stayed for teo nights and had eveni g meals in the Bistro on both occasions. The meals were well cooked and presented. On the second night of our stay, there was only one staff memmber on duty in the Bistro, and it must be said that Brodie provided exceptional service that night. He was barman, taking food orders, collecting meals from the kitchen, serving meals and clearing plates away, and all with a cheerful and helpful manner... "
