"We enjoy our stay at Sun marine. The place is nice, clean and comfortable, the bed is good the pillow are hard. Just one unpleasant staff called Natiphom. He ask us to wash our feet before going inside of the hotel. We did, but he came like a sand police to watch if you we did wash properly and was point our legs saying: Have sand in this side... like there was nooooooo staff who could clean the floor. Very annoying and not welcome at all. I think this guy should not work in the hospitality...

"In terms of value, it doesn't really get better than that. Easily walkable to private beach area with lots of amenities and includes breakfast. Staff was attentive and customer service was impeccable."

"It's an interesting property to stay in. Probably built in the '70's, it's starting to decay and fall apart. But it is right on the beach, has a relaxed vibe and the rooms are fine. It reminds me of the way Thailand was is the 70's and 80's. A number of highrise hotels have been built around, but this resorts clings on to the way it was! "

The pillowcases had drool stains (I hope they were just drool stains) all over them, and there was an overpowering stench that literally made me gag upon entering the room. It smelled like sewage, and was even stronger in the bathroom. So I would assume this means there is a problem with the plumbing.
