"Alongside the A1 but you would never know, so quiet. Convenient back road into Bamburgh and loveky view across farmland. Breakfast was excellent cereals, fruit juice, toast and jams. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, hash browns and choice of how your eggs cooked. Also ate in the restaurant and cafe both excellent. Room was clean, tea coffee and good shower. Stayed four nights, couldn't fault it. Staff really nice. "

"The dining room decor was amazing taken from the ship Olympic. Linen tablecloths changed after every meal. The staff were friendly and super efficient and the food was excellent. The bedroom decor was tired and room servicing was below par, water glasses not cleaned. The bar staff were not always available and when we went for a nightcap after the theatre the bar was shut at just 10pm"

"It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK.
