Some of the details on hotels.com are a bit misleading though: there is no spa and the breakfast is actually at a neighbouring hotel (which also has a restaurant with delicious food). There was no TV in the room, buy the room was spacious and comfortable and we had access to a kitchen that was shared with guests in 2 other rooms."

"Hotel was quiet. Our room was spacious and comfy. The furniture was a little dated and a lightbulb was out in the light near the door. It's a budget hotel, so very basic but clean and good for a night stay over. Only thing I can imagine needing in the room was a kettle to make coffee in the morning. It was kind of weird to check-in at the other hotel but not really a big deal to us. "

"My family stayed at Vollsnes Feriehus this August and it was by far our favorite place we stayed during our trip to Norway! Simply put, it was one of the most picturesque places we have ever stayed! The cabin was beautifully decorated, the host family was warm and inviting, the view from our deck was stunning, and we all had fun using the kayaks, paddleboards, and row boat. This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place!
