"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."

"This was the first stop on our trip thru Spain, embarking from Bilbao. Four sixty year olds looking for peace and quiet. We had driven through awesome mountain scenery and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by George (can't spell the Spanish version) who gave us a history of the area. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, with a bed that we didn't want to get out of! There were 6 rooms in an outside block, each with a small patio area and chairs and a mountain view. The bathroom was modern...

"Took a bit of finding, directions could be more specific. Fairly obscure turn off main Rd. However once found, easy peasy. Staff really friendly and so helpfull. Would certainly stat there again. In fact we have spoken about a return visit."

"Our host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The old-style room was big enough and had a view up to the basilica. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Parking just out front. The reception area was down and around a path to the rear of the building. There is a footpath behind the property which takes you up to the magnificent basilica and awesome cave chapel and it was a short drive to take the shuttle bus up to Los Lagos. "
