"Hotel Scaletta is in a great location, about 3 minutes walk from the amphitheatre and start of the historic city. Parking is a few minutes walk away so its best to drop your bags first. "Quite far away from Centre. Room clean, bed comfortable. Had Balcony, which was nice. Note: Plug-Ins in Bathroom are so high up that i had to climb on toilett to reach them ! Very unsafe ! Carpet on stairs is loose and catches your shoe... also very unsafe ! Breakfast Buffet was just ... ok. Hotel really needs updated. In summary - stay was ok, but wouldnt go back. "

"Fabulous! We stayed for six nights in the penthouse and everything was perfect. The room itself was beautifully decorated with everything you could possible want (including an amazing balcony with hot tub). The staff were also brilliant - so friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. The location was excellent - there is so much to do and see in the area. The breakfast was amazing and the onsite restaurant was great. Would definitely stay here again."

"I’ve never stayed in a national park with a hotel and I’ve visited three in Croatia. They allow me early check end, which I really appreciate it. Also enjoyed the amenities. I used the golf course and also used a golf cart to view the sites the first day and the second day I walked for seven hours around the perimeter and revisited the Roman villa ruins, which was exceptional. The breakfast was very good."

The new pools are fabulous, especially the relax infinity pool with the fantastic comfortable cushioned 4 poster sun beds, lovely, more comfortable than the apartment beds. Nice modern reception with good staff. The negatives for comfort was the mattresses seemed old, lumpy and very uncomfortable, i hardly slept the first night and changed my mattress for the spare one in our room but wasn't much better.
