"The staff were lovely, and the hotel is in a very convenient location, with the Riva being an easy 10 minute walk. However, it's extremely difficult to find, as there is no name outside - luckily, I happened to recognise the metal gates from the listing photos. It's actually just off the square where the bus/taxi stops are, so it's easy once you know where to look. Very convenient location, only 5 mins walk to the local bus station where you can get buses to the airport and Klis castle etc really easily. About 15 min walk to the palace and waterfront. "The customer service here is top notch. Check-in staff was friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room with a balcony facing the water. They even made sure to pack my partner and I two grab & go meals to take with us on the plane as we were checking out early before breakfast. They also coordinated a taxi for us to the airport. "This was the perfect place to stay in Split, just steps from the center of the old town and a very short walk to the harbor. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The concierges were all helpful and one of them, Ivan, helped me find and book the most amazing place to stay outside of Plitvice Park for our next stop. "The ceiling on master bed was leaking sewage water on the 2nd day. The staff couldn’t do anything but giving us another spare room. However that room was having obnoxious smell. The staff confirmed the smell was from the sewage drain. Overall it’s a bad experience, but staff was friendly even though not helpful "
