"The hotel itself was nice in a very modern way but bar service was somewhat lacking with the sole person running the place disappearing for long periods leaving us with empty glasses and eventually giving up waiting for further drinks, both in the afternoon after arrival and later in the evening after eating."

"10 minute walk to the historic centre of town over a very impressive viaduct that is purely for pedestrian traffic. lots of places to eat and drink that can accommodate any pocket. Good value for money, secure garage parking for a small charge; the room was spotless and the shower was fantastic! Only down side ,the double bed was a touch on the small side. "

"It was nice to have a pool for the kids. But it is really dark. The staff is really nice and friendly. But for the price the hotel needs to update. It could be set iup to have more inviting public spaces. Sections such as the salon and the pool are very dated. Staff is very friendly and helpful which goes a long way."

"This is an absolutely stunning property and it was an amazing place to stay at the end of our holiday. We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and grounds and shown the many amazing antiques and the unique salons. It was a delight to be here, but there are a couple of things to be aware of when planning a stay. Apart from a lovely breakfast, there is no food available. "Decent hotel for the price. It was for pensioners. Surprised that there was no A/C. It wasn't too bad the night we were there. The bed was too soft. Reception was nice to change our room to a double bed from 2 twins. As a result, we got a nice upgrade to a room with a living room. Breakfast was o.k."
