"Travelling up through France from the south to the north coast this was a good overnight stop. Although there is no restaurant food can be delivered to the hotel and a restaurant is close by. A good continental breakfast is available. The beds are large and comfortable the staff very welcoming."

Friendly service ( I can speak a bit of French; they could speak some English so all good for check-in, etc! Also.one staffer who was fully bilingual.). Good breakfast in pleasant dining area. "This is the second time we have stayed and it was just as remembered. It is a bit quirky but our room perfect for us and the dog plus being immaculately clean. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back."

"The stay was ok and the hotel was in a good location for what we we wanted to do BUT on departure we were charged again for the room having already paid through hotels.com. We have spent the last 6 weeks trying to sort this out with hotels.com but the hotel are not responding. Surely they can see they have been paid twice?"

"This was a lovely, relaxed hotel with lots to do for the whole family. Tennis, golf, driving range, mini golf, volleyball etc and even a mini farm, horse riding and games room. Events such as walks and an outdoor cinema. Great breakfast with local produce, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. My son left his sunglasses behind and they were also kind enough to send them home to us!! "

Also a cozy bar and in nice weather a courtyard. There is a v.good Italian restaurant next door, and cafe 2 blocks away. You will want to go into Saumur Centre-- a 15 minute walk over 2 bridges. Lots to explore and many eating choices there. "
