"We stayed for 1 night travelling from Salzburg to Venice. A clean and friendly family feel to this place in a spectacular location with supermarket couple of mins drive away. Staff were welcoming and helpful and supplied a good breakfast. Our room was fairly basic but gave what was required but we did have to report a running toilet and the room got very hot due to heatwave and lack of any air con. Balcony was an added bonus. "

"What a wonderful and interesting place to stay! I almost couldn’t leave and explore as there’s so much to see within the premises. My particular room would not be many people’s choice of decor but it was such a talking point and did not deter from the comfort. This hotel could never be called boring and the restaurant was incredible with absolutely fabulous food. The staff were fantastic and so accommodating and warm. "Nice Hotel in quite location. Off road safe parking for motorcycles. Arrived early and room wasn't ready but told they would make it up next. Owner very accommodating and helpful (as were all staff). Room had balcony and view to rear. Restaurant was closed the night we stayed but a 5 minute walk up the road is a bar and restaurant with good food. Good stopping point if intending to ride the GrossGlockner High Road."

"This review is split into 2 parts.. we shall start with the positives. Food here was lovely and the waiting staff were helpful and responsive even with our very limited German. The lake was beautiful although often overcrowded in the afternoon with inflatables near the jetty. If you go earlier in the day it’s beautiful and tranquil. The view across the lake is lovely. "The location was great. Near the train station. My 3 brothers and I stayed there. We were our touring Vienna all day long and got back at midnight. The walk from the underground station was a little long, but doable. Bonus points for having a long comfortable couch for my 6’6” brother to sleep on. That was a nice surprise."

Beautiful hotel

"Beautiful hotel with beautiful surroundings. The family running the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was cosy, well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was also very good. Only minor improvements I would recommend would be providing a fan for the room (it was a hot few days in Austria, and the room was quite warm at night). Additionally, a mirror in the bedroom close to a plug for using the hair dryer would be useful (there was a mirror in the bathroom, but no plug nearby). We'll definitely stay here again in the future."
