However, there was a wedding on Saturday night, and while the hotel did post a notice in the elevator about loud music until midnight, they assigned us a room on the 2nd floor—directly above the wedding venue. This seemed like the worst possible placement for a family with young children. A bit more consideration from the staff could have made a difference, like assigning us a room on a higher floor to minimise the noise. "

The room was big, single beds as requested, a 3 seater sofa, 2 arm chairs, chair and desk, chest of drawers and wardrobe (some hotels don’t even supply that), what luxury for us. "This is a very convenient hotel for Gatwick airport. The rooms are very sparse but clean and comfortable. Large shower room with good hot water pressure. There is a restaurant but it is not open on Sundays. The hotel has parking and a facility for airport parking and transport to and from Gatwick. We found the area quiet despite planes coming in and out. Great for stays of 1/2 nights or for picking up family from Gatwick as we had to do. "
