"The reviews for the property were mostly accurate---the condo buildings are quite dated and not the cleanest, but the views and hand--feeding the deer roaming about the property simply could not be beat! Very relaxing nature surroundings create an otherworldly feeling while being there. Was sad to go back to the city :-("

"Cabin was cute and old feeling. It does need a lot of upgrading and the property had a lot of debris. The river area does need clean up. Our heater was super noisy and kept us up every night. When the wind blows, it sounded like someone was trying to break into the sealed cabin door, scared us the 1st night lol it is in walking distance of shops and restaurants and the staff at the store were very friendly. "

They excel in providing a great breakfast, as well as morning coffee service with a wake-up knock on your door, and then snacks and a full self-service bar available 24/7. These things out-weighed the too soft, too old mattress and small bedroom. If that is important to you, you might need to try another place. "The cabin looks small from outside- but the rooms and living room are big! I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn’t find the 3rd room- until I realized it was outside downstairs of the cabin. LOL! Great getaway !"
