It's an older property and some of the fixtures/fittings in the bathroom are tired but on the plus side - shower pressure was good and everything was very clean and we had a great nights sleep. "This was a very quaint and attractive posada in a picturesque location just outside Potes. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We did not eat at the posada so cannot comment on the quality of the menu. I would recommend a stay here."

"A fabulous little place, on our way back to the ferry at Santander, but in a remote corner of northern Spain. Around 15 miles off the beaten track and surrounded by gorgeous countryside but only 1.5 hours from the port. We received a warm welcome from our hostess, Karmah, who looked after our every need, supplying local information, as well as cooking us a splendid evening meal. Highly recommend to anyone visiting northern Spain. A proper little rural gem."

"We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Rural Picos de Europa and had a wonderful stay. It's located in a beautiful position, 5 - 10 minutes walk from the village and there's plenty of parking space. The hotel is simply but very comfortably furnished, our room was excellent, but be aware you may have to carry bags up a couple of flights of stairs.
