"The front desk was on the ground floor, as usual in Europe. The lift that I never used was a little bit up the stairs. To get to the 1st floor, I had to climb another circular flight of stairs. The room I had was big enough for myself, with the bathroom having plenty of space. Overall, the fixtures were aged, worn, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow being a little shallow. I asked for a second pillow and promptly got it. My room overlooked the ferry terminal across the street....

"A beach town with a fair amount of residential properties and a good number of restaurants at various prices. Enjoyed all meals. Hotel staff were very easy to deal with and helpful."

The staff is super friendly and very helpful in providing dining recommendations and other tips. The train station is less than a 10 minute walk to the hotel.
