"A few miles outside Cuenca, this was a surprise on the plus side for us as it is in a secluded area with grapevines in front and lots of mature trees Super private. No need to stay in Cuenca as it is a short drive in the morning to get to the hanging houses if Cuenca. The main lounge has a woodburning fireplace which greeted us upon our arrival. "I arrived to find the hotel CLOSED probably for the Winter, but I wasn’t advised of this. After 1 full hour on the phone to Hotels.com (in America, God knows how much that cost me!) they put me in their sister hotel 6 miles away which was not bad, (but not fantastic). This was part of a substantial motorbike holiday I planned and this was the lowest point of a 19 day trip."
