"Wowza! This was one of the best 5 day asian island resort experiences we've had on our travels. The resort has gone through a full refurbishment in the last couple of years, so we were delighted to see that most of the negative feedback has been listened too and actioned. Do not hesitate to book. All the staff - reception, restaurant, cleaners, concierge, footmen and management - are so friendly, helpful and enjoy a sense of fun, whilst all being totally professional. "Overall the hotel is clean and tidy. Is just the shower water heater is out. The hotel is near to housing so is quiet and relax. Hotel provided local breakfast 'nasi lemak' which is delicious we enjoyed the breakfast at open area next to the hotel. Great stay. "

"The hotel is undergoing major renovations (installing new lifts and other works) so is noisy and a little untidy. The bathrooms are not very clean - there is mould and soap scum build up. The toilet seat in our bathroom was the wrong size so will shift when used (and give you a shock). If you have your own transport then the next issue does not arise. If you need a taxi you need to book in advance (the day before). There is a new shopping centre (Mydin) nearby and there are other shops within...

"The best resort on the Island. The room was exactly what you expect on a small island, basic but beautiful if you want to just relax. Food was excellent and so was the service. Highly recommend."

"Stayed in hotel after arriving too late to travel onwards to the islands. Check in was fine, but room itself was in a poor condition, with facilities very run down. The sheets and towels were dirty. Breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately was not particularly appetising. We were interested in seeing whether there was somewhere in the area where we could get a drink, but were told that nowhere would be open (it was only ~8pm, so found this...

"Wowza! This was one of the best 5 day asian island resort experiences we've had on our travels. The resort has gone through a full refurbishment in the last couple of years, so we were delighted to see that most of the negative feedback has been listened too and actioned. Do not hesitate to book. All the staff - reception, restaurant, cleaners, concierge, footmen and management - are so friendly, helpful and enjoy a sense of fun, whilst all being totally professional. Our room was clean fresh with clean linens and towels. Sometime it takes an issue to truely rate an experience and we were absoultely blown away at the attentiveness and resolution. It turned our experience from 5 star to 6 star. We will definitely be back!!!"
