"The decor in the property is a little dated but it was clean, the bed was very comfortable and large rooms. The chef was very personable and even arranged bacon to be available for us at breakfast even though it is not on their menu. The food was delicious and the blonde haired waitress very friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay and good value for money. "

"A disappointing stay - when we arrived there was no one available for about 15/30 minutes after having to shout to attract someone's attention then it seemed that there were not expecting us - location of cottage further away than expected description said it was an annex, which normally means attached to the hotel. We were on a fully loaded up motorbike so the big cobbles in the car park raised the pulse slightly, but thankfully it was dry.
