"There was a cockroach inside the cupboard under the sink. We called the landline to ask for an insect spray but since there was no staff in the afternoon, they cannot provide one until the next day. So, we chose to buy an insect spray ourselves. There was no hair dryer. Some fixture need refurbishment like the bathroom vanity. Overall, it was a good stay. The staff in the morning where friendly."

It is only an hour and a half from Auckland airport despite being quite out of the way in amongst hilly sheep farms. Everything was wonderful...views, decor, food. The main lodge and the cabins have been beautifully decorated. Cabins are large with ample living area including a fireplace and a large bathroom with double shower and spa tub.
