"The Coriva Beach hotel is a delight. Everywhere you look, the property is beautifully maintained, everything is just aesthetically pleasing, the staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is not opulently luxurious or overdone. It's a family owned place: three brothers took over the management of the place from their Dad. So, it doesn't have that Hiltony-Marriot-like corporate feel to it. Instead, Covina is homey, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast options here are varied and delicious, with tables...

It was driving distance to what ended up being my favorite beach in Crete, and Ioanna was a wonderful host, very helpful and accommodating, and it was lovely to spend some time chatting with her about the cool history of the property.
