When I mentioned we were going to Stryn, the front desk associate suggested us to take ferry to Leknes and drive through the valley (including Oye) instead of driving through Volda city center. Parking was a little unclear, but right on the other side of the street, and breakfast was a little light on options. Otherwise, we had a sea view and it was worth it.
