"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Des Etrangers - a small unique boutique hotel. The staff are excellent - friendly, helpful, and personable. The daily breakfast is superb. The hotel is located amongst a vibrant restaurant/bar/ shopping area and within walking distance to the local ferry and attractions. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for a stay. Noise from other venues in the evenings can be an issue but it did not concern us. "

"Very clean room with all expected facilities. Very close to ferry wharf to Cannakkale but still quiet due to double glazing. Hotel also runs tours to Troy and Gallipoli. Troy tour was dissappointing due to a lacklustre guide - however hotel refunded an appropriate proportion of cost when told this. "A nice hotel but could do with a little updating. A short walking distance from the front and very close for the ferry. We enjoyed our short stay."

"I loved feeling like I was staying in a large beautiful home rather than the traditional impersonal large American style hotel. The staff was so pleasant and because I had a puppy and kitten with me, went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are nice but not 5 star. The shower stall was not perfect. The breakfast buffet was lovely. And there was always freshly baked goodies in the lobby. Small issues that in the big picture, not important to me , and overall I would stay again. I have...
