"Had a great time with friends and children at this hotel. The pool and kids rooms are great. The breakfast was good but would have loved more home made or local options. We had booked a comfort appartement which was the good size for a family of 4. However, in the bedroom, we had 2 separate twin beds for adults (in each corner of the room), which I found a bit odd. Apart from that, the view was stunning! "

"Beautiful hotel in a great location. 3 minute walk from Bern train station. Conveniently located to many great restaurants and shopping. Horel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were comfortable."

"We were welcomed and checked in warmly by reception. We had also pre-registered online by the welcome email from Hotel Baren. Their staff went the extra mile to provide extra latex pillow and fixed the safe locking error when requested. We booked the Comfort room which faces the back of the surrounding buildings but we figured the view is likely to be due to the different sizes of the room. "This quaint hotel was perfect and charming. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It’s a little off the beaten path so if you’re looking for a getaway from the tourists areas, this is a perfect quiet spot with amazing views. Because you are higher up on the mountain, the sun shines brightly on this hotel. I visited some of the other hotels nearby and doing the staff to be quite rude. Would definitely recommend this hotel over others in the area. "
