I think we will be making a habit of staying at the Jamaica Inn as it’s equal distance between Great Torrington and Falmouth where we each live and it enables us to meet up more often with our very busy working schedules. "Great stay, had a nice meal in the bar area. Then went swimming and used the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Had a gym available to use too. Location was good for the area I had to visit. I would stay again."

"Superb place to stay. Everything you could need was available in the room with lovely additional features like the fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great bath and shower. We were met by the owners and shown round the facilities, including the amazingly large spa pool! It was December for our stay but we managed 90 minutes relaximg in warm water before venturing out for food. Warm, welcoming and comfortable! Would highly recommend a stay at the Ramblers Rest!"

"Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "
