"Scandic Byporten is an nice hotel with modern rooms. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and functional. The hotel is well located next door to Oslo Central Station (and within a shopping Centre). Breakfast at the hotel is served next door at the Egon restaurant. Breakfast was incredibly crowded and difficult to get a seat. The hotel was very full over Easter weekend and our room, despite requesting it to be, was not cleaned. I had to complaint. It was eventually resolved. "

"The staff was super nice and helpful, the room was large and spacious and clean. Only 2 unexpected issues- I was put in a handicap room, and the shower door did not close so water was everywhere, and the bells from Town Hall are VERY LOUD at night. Not sure if a room on another side of the hotel would have helped? Also not sure if those bells ring every night...."
