"This is a charming converted chateau. close to Saint-Omer and the A26, and not far from Calais and the Channel Tunnel. The property is in a very quiet rural location, with ample parking. Staff were most helpful and the rooms have character. The restaurant is not open on Sundays but delicious snacks are available from the bar. Recommended"

"You cant check in early because theyre closed from 11am to 5 pm. They email you a code to get in however the machine was broken. So we had to wait to get in until someone arrived which thankfully was early. The room was very bare and basic, like a college dorm room. Hard beds. 1 pillow and 1 towel only. Nothing extra. "I love this hotel and have used it several times as a stop off before driving back to England via the Tunnel. The French Chateau is a perfect setting and I have seen many French groups using it for weddings and work meetings."

"Really nice hotel and in a great location just 45 mins from Calais. The room was great and overlooked fields and had a really nice balcony. Dinner was great and the wine choices were good too. The pool was amazing, just what was needed after a long drive. Everything was extremely clean and very well looked after. Lovely stay"

"Very poor, booked on the basis of 8 out of 10 rating but honestly not sure who posted these reviews. Booked a second night for the following week ( non refundable) and couldn't bring myself to return so booked a different hotel meaning more than double the cost. No water in the shower, no food and damp bedding. Service was poor and I was made to feel unwelcome. Stayed at the Ibis budget and felt like a rock star compared to this place. Avoid like the plague."
