"Great bar staff"

"Lovely room, especially size, although it looked like it was undergoing some ongoing repairs. Generally tidy, initial walk through corridors looked a bit like whole hotel was in need of some TLC room was better. Generally quiet, although noise from road on occasion but also noisy guests leaving around midnight disturbed us. "

"Staff and check in very good. Was in a superior room which gives space around the bed but that is all it means by superior over a standard room. Was unfortunately a few long dark hairs on walls of shower so it hadnt been cleaned thoroughly."

"The room was very spacious, with a large comfortable bed, walk in wardrobe area and a large en-suite with an enormous bath and separate shower. There was a kettle and choice of teas and coffee, although no biscuits or snacks or bottles of water. We were however given complimentary water to take back to the room when we asked at the bar. The restaurant was well laid out with enough space between the tables. The food was exceptionally good, freshly cooked to order, piping hot and deliciously tasty...

"A very nice pub/restaurant with separate hotel building just outside. Very friendly and helpful staff and the food was really good. Hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable with a nice modern bathroom. "

"Lovely grounds, quiet, convenient access and parking. Good front desk - notified me beforehand they would be grass cutting for a golf tournament and upgraded me so I would not be disturbed early in the morning."
