The Aves Arosa home base is ver clean and walkable from the train station and bus station. Note that the bus is actually a van and therefore limited in passenger and luggage capacity. "The lobby smelled strongly of smoke due to the smoking room nearby, and that's never a good sign. The rooms were fine and breakfast was average. No AC, but there were fans which we used. Would choose a different hotel next time."

"We spent one night here whilst touring around Switzerland. It’s a lovely hotel on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Walensee. Hotel is in good order. As with virtually all hotels in Switzerland, there is no air conditioning so it is recommended to take a mini fan with you if visiting in the middle of summer. "
